ATTLEBORO PUBLIC LIBRARY

Film Screening: Miss Representation

Monday, March 30, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Balfour Room

In honor of Women’s History Month, and with the help of our new streaming service Kanopy, we will be screening the award-winning documentary Miss Representation, directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom.

“Like drawing back a curtain to let bright light stream in, Miss Representation uncovers a glaring reality we live with every day but fail to see…how mainstream media contributes to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America.”

Join us for a screening and brief discussion. Light refreshments will be served.

Registration is required for this free library program.
