OURE PLEASURE SINGERS
Free Celtic Concert
Tuesday, March 17, 2020 – 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. in the Marble Lobby
Join us at the Attleboro Public Library for a free St. Patrick’s Day Celtic Concert by Oure Pleasure Singers!
Oure Pleasure Singers is a small group of vocalists dedicated to the joy of serious music-making. Comprised of singers from Providence, Attleboro, and surrounding communities, the ensemble sings an eclectic variety of music, ranging from plainchant to jazz, and embracing both the sacred and the secular. Based in Attleboro MA, Oure Pleasure was founded in 1983 by friends who were seeking the special enjoyment of a small, closely-knit vocal ensemble. In 2018, Oure Pleasure Singers walked away with top honors on season four of WGBH’s popular television program “Sing That Thing”. Read more at www.opsingers.org.
Selections will include Siuil a Ruin, The Wood Dove and other Celtic tunes performed in the acoustically pleasing and historically beautiful marble lobby on the library’s 2nd floor. The library will be open ONLY for the concert on this evening.
