Monthly Garden Talks Set to Begin in January at Linden Place Mansion
Informal talks and discussions lead by experienced gardeners are free and open to the public.
Beat the winter doldrums and prep for gardening season! January is the perfect time to begin planning your garden for the spring, get inspiration and learn new techniques from experts. Starting in January and continuing every month, Linden Place Mansion, an historic 200 year-old mansion and gardens in Bristol, will host gardeners’ talks and discussions lead by experienced gardeners about best practices, new techniques and more.
The talks take place at 1 pm on the second Wednesday of every month at Linden Place. The purpose is to share proven, science based gardening practices and to reach gardeners of all ages and abilities for learning new techniques, avoid bad practices, and share your own expertise.
On January 8, we will welcome everyone, provide our planned monthly topics for 2020, then give a short talk on the benefits of good gardening practices. All presentations during the year will be lead by trained and/or professional gardeners and will encourage group discussions and questions.
Please join us to kick off the new series at Linden Place, on Wednesday January 8, 2020, starting at 1pm in our Conference Room. Admission is free but reservations requested. Please contact the Linden Place office with any questions at (401)253-0390 or e-mail info@lindenplace.org
