“6th Annual re-Tree Opening Exhibition”
A Showcase of Trees Created with Recycled Materials
This event will take place on the grounds of the Meeting House, 3850 Main Road, Tiverton Four Corners and will kick off with a lighting, stroll and award ceremony on December 14th 4-6. Seasonal, warm refreshments will be served
The trees will be on display until December 29th 2019.
The “Call to Creators” went out to families, individuals, community groups, businesses, artists and arts groups! You can still register a re-Tree until December 1st. A cash prize of $150 for best overall tree will be awarded.
Trees will be judged on: best use of recycled, reclaimed or repurposed materials, construction & creativity.
Basic requirements for trees are: the tree must be composed of 90% recycled, reclaimed or repurposed materials, the tree must light up (there are outdoor plugs available but, consider solar!) must be outdoor friendly and secure when standing. Trees should be no smaller than 5 feet and no taller than 9 feet. All trees will be labeled with a 4×6 plaque stating the name(s) of creator(s) or businesses.
Trees can be installed on Monday December 9th from 3-6 through Friday, December 13th 10-1.
