“Little Mermaid” Takes the Stage at Bishop Feehan this Weekend
ATTLEBORO, MA – New Bishop Feehan theatre director Brian Hickey is proud to present his inaugural Feehan musical production this weekend, as the Bishop Feehan Theatre Company presents The Little Mermaid, Jr. on Friday and Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
More than 100 Feehan students will make this show come alive, including 60+ actors and 40+ members of our stage crew and house staff. Taking the lead will be junior Julia Carson (Foxboro, MA) as Ariel along with Zachary Castro (Attleboro, MA – Prince Eric), Madison Breckner (Norton, MA – Ursula) and Mason Poirier (Rehoboth, MA – King Triton).
Breckner will be performing double duty on Saturday, when she will tend goal at noon for the Bishop Feehan girls soccer team in their South Sectional final game in Hingham before getting back to Feehan for that night’s stage performance.
The show is a journey “under the sea” with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr., adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and the motion picture. The beloved story has Ariel exploring life on land and making a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula. Prince Eric and Ariel’s many undersea friends help her save her beautiful voice.
Assisting Mr. Hickey are Kim Fowler as Choreographer and Sara Seals as Musical Director. Feehan senior Olivia Castro is the stage manager.
