PROVIDENCE, RI- After their meeting at Rhode Island College, Governors Raimondo, Baker, and Lamont released the following joint statement:

“Today’s meeting was a valuable opportunity to continue our conversation about the challenges facing our region and the benefits of collaboration.
There’s a lot we can learn from one another; each of our states is strengthened when we can work together to address issues like the cost of healthcare, the threat of climate change, the importance of public education, and the urgency of workforce development in our changing economy.
We look forward to continuing these conversations in the months ahead.”
