WORKING AT THE MILL
Aaron Bisson, Colin Lamusta and Destiny Easler, all students at Bridgewater State University, are this semesters interns at The Museum At The Mill.
Aaron – Destiny – Colin
All three are participating in the initial course offering of Docent 101. The course is designed to promote scholarship, research, writing and production skills that will enhance the range, scope and details of their resumes. Graduate school or job opportunity interviews will only be improved by these unique credentials.
The three will write scripts, build sets and produce dramatic vignettes. The segments will focus on a mill workers’ Christmas in Dodgeville, Massachusetts in 1850, 1900 and 1950. The sets will be historically accurate mill house kitchens of each era. The “interpreters” will be the housewife who worked in that kitchen.
The plays will be presented to live audiences and preserved on video to be posted to the Dodge Mill Museum’s YouTube Channel.
Sounds like fun. Sounds like worthwhile, hard work too.
