THE GOOD FIGHT: CONFRONTING ANTI-SEMITISM

ADL NEW ENGLAND CONVENES THE GOOD FIGHT FORUM ON CONFRONTING ANTI-SEMITISM

Community Remembrance To Be Held on the One Year Anniversary of the Pittsburgh Shooting

On the one-year anniversary of the deadliest attack on the American Jewish community, the Anti-Defamation League is convening the Boston community for the Good Fight Forum, an informative and hands on day dedicated to combatting anti-Semitism. This one day forum will include presentations by leading experts on anti-Semitism and skill building workshops for adults, students and families. Participants will leave with an actionable toolkit for confronting anti-Semitism.

The program will open with a community commemoration of the Pittsburgh attack with Boston’s leading Rabbis.

Presenters include historian and author Deborah Lipstadt, author and New York Times op-ed writer Bari Weiss, Representative Joe Kennedy III, CNN anchor John Berman, President of the NAACP Boston Branch Tanisha Sullivan, Newton Mayor Ruth-Ann Fuller, DA Marian Ryan, and Boston Globe Columnist Jeff Jacoby.

The Good Fight Forum will bring together distinguished thought leaders to discuss ways to innovate against hate and to lead participants in workshops focused on addressing the issues of disrupting anti-Semitism in its many manifestations. Workshops will leave participants with concrete tools to identify bias in media, examine anti-Semitism through a lens of intersectionality, and teach students how to stand up to anti-Semitism on campus.
