A night of holiday prep and pretty lettering
Bristol, R.I. – Linden Place Mansion, a 200-year old mansion located in the center of Bristol, Rhode Island will be hosting an introduction to modern calligraphy workshop Thursday, November 7th 2019 from 6 pm-7 pm.
Join us fireside in the Linden Place ballroom for a beginner level intro to calligraphy using a pointed dip pen and ink. The workshop will cover all the basics and prepare you for the holiday season. Get ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home décor, and more! Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided.
The event includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, a beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), all Paper Source writing materials, and wine and light bites. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the night!

Friends of Linden Place is a non-profit organization responsible for the restoration and preservation of the historic house museum at 500 Hope Street in Bristol, Rhode Island, and for the promotion of cultural, artistic, and educational programs in the community. The mansion and grounds are open to the public from May to October, during the holiday season, and also by appointment.
