Raimondo Highlights Rhode Island Promise Scholarship at RIC Orientation
PROVIDENCE, RI- At the first orientation session for incoming Rhode Island College students, Governor Raimondo highlighted the urgent need to expand the Rhode Island Promise Scholarship.
The Governor’s proposed expansion of the program would cover the final two years of tuition at RIC for in-state, full-time students, incentivizing them to graduate in four years.
Bringing Rhode Island Promise to RIC would provide students with financial support during a critical time in their educational careers and ensure that all Rhode Islanders have access to a high-quality, affordable four-year degree.
