Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival Launches for 33rd Year
Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa will launch the 2019 Stoweflake Balloon Festival on July 5, 6, 7 on the property grounds. The weekend will feature approximately 20 hot-air balloons, family activities, live entertainment , local food and a Beer and Wine Garden.
General admission tickets cost $10. Children under 12 and Stoweflake guests during the festival may attend for free. Gates open at 4 pm on both Friday and Saturday nights.
Festival attendees are welcome to join in on the high flying fun with hot-air balloon rides priced at $300 per person – advanced reservations are required. Tethered rides in the hot-air balloons will be available for $10 per person. Reservations are not required. All rides are weather permitting and to the discretion of the pilot.
The Stoweflake Balloon Festival was originally launched in 1986 as a fun way for balloonists to get together and share their talent and hobby. After 33 years the festival has grown to become a pivotal summer attraction for locals and tourists, being frequently named a top summer event by the State of Vermont.
