Family Explorations

Each month join us at Oak Knoll for special hands-on activities and lessons.
June: Pond Exploration- We will head out to the pond with buckets and nets to find what insects, and animals call Lake T home. Will we find a tadpole, a fish, maybe baby dragonflies?? Please dress for outdoor exploration, older shoes are always great idea.

Family Habitat Day
Date: Sun. Jun 2nd and Sept 1st, Sat. Jul 6th and Aug 3rd
Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am
Audience: Families
Members: Free
Nonmembers: $2/person
Join us as we explore the different habitats found around the sanctuary during this monthly hike. One month we may explore our vernal pools, another we make take a look at our field, maybe the marsh, it is always a new adventure.

Night at the Knoll
Date: June 8th

Audience: Adult (21+)
Members: $50.00 per person
Nonmembers: $50.00 per person
Join us for our annual fundraiser. This special night will feature great music, delicious catered food, beer, wine, and soft drinks, along with amazing live birds of prey. Enjoy biding on unique live and silent auction items all to benefit the Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary. Mingle with our staff within the Ottmar Nature Center and finish the night with our annual tradition of S’mores in the barn. This event happens only once a year and it is definitely something that should not be missed!

Firefly Fiesta

Join us at Attleboro Springs as we learn all about Fireflies. The night will start with an introduction into these amazing animals and then conclude with a hike to look for some. Pre-Registration is required. Attleboro Springs is located at 947 Park Street.

Owl Prowls at Oak Knoll

Come join us at Oak Knoll as we learn about the owls of Massachusetts. We will start off the night with an interactive presentation and owl pellet dissection. Then, we will then head outside for a night hike to listen for our feathery friends.
