Preservation, Recreation and Sport | Call for conference ideas
Save the date for Rhode Island’s 34th Annual Statewide Historic Preservation Conference on Saturday, April 6, 2019 .
It’s a bit earlier in April!
We will explore the architecture and history of leisure in Rhode Island. Our host community is East Providence , a longtime leisure destination known for its historic amusement parks, country clubs, waterfront resorts, ball fields, and extensive bike trails.
We invite proposals for individual presentations as well as complete sessions on historic preservation topics.
Proposals may focus on Preservation, Recreation and Sport–or explore other preservation issues and projects, such as historic district zoning, local preservation tools, recent projects, advocacy, and sustainability.
