Join us September 8-9 at the National Historic Landmark Gen. Nathanael Greene Homestead, 2018 for our Fall Civil War Encampment and Skirmish to raise funds to install a fire alarm in our new post and beam classroom/event barn, currently under construction.
The event will feature authentic Civil War era civilian military camps, cannon and musket demonstrations, an skirmishes and an afternoon battle, period music and lectures and presentations from local historians and the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Featuring Sam and Julia Grant portraying Gen. Ulysses S. Grant and Mrs. Julia Dent Grant??
