North Dighton ???Milestones, a division of Cooperative Production, Inc., welcomes adults looking to improve quality of life through individual, person-centered activities and supports.??

Milestones is offering a series of silk painting classes with local artist and instructor Emma Davidson. Beginning in April, the classes will run four consecutive Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to noon at 82 Ingell Street in Taunton. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Berkley Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Following April???s silk painting, Milestones will offer flower arranging classes, also at 82 Ingell Street, Taunton, on the first Thursday of each month, beginning in May, 10:00 a.m. to noon. Flowers are generously donated to Milestones by Hannaford Supermarket in Taunton.

Milestones offers opportunities for social, educational, and personal enrichment activities to both local residents and others across the Massachusetts South Coast. With support from businesses and individuals from the local community, Milestones is excited to offer arts instruction. According to Katelyn Eagan, CO-OP???s Director of Specialized Services, ???We are so grateful to Berkley Cultural Council and Hannaford Supermarket for this support. This is a wonderful beginning to an enriching arts program at Milestones.?????

These programs are free of charge and open to individuals on the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waivers for Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Moving Forward Plan (MFP).
