Pond Home Administrator Rebecca Annis is pleased to welcome Sharon M. Mullane, M.D., as the facility???s new medical director. In this role, Dr. Mullane will work closely with Pond Home???s nursing staff to manage and guide the medical care of the residents in order to support their highest level of independence and enjoyment of life.?? She will be involved at all levels of resident care and supervision, providing clinical leadership, support and education.

???I am thrilled to have Dr. Sharon Mullane as our Medical Director??? said Annis.?? ???She has followed her own patients here for a number of years.?? When the opportunity came about, she was comfortable joining our efforts to provide personalized and attentive care to each of our residents.?? Her varied experiences in the medical field and approachable style are a perfect match for our home.???

Dr. Mullane is a graduate of the Dartmouth Medical School.???? She completed her residency at Brown University Family Practice and Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island.???? She is a Board Certified Family Practitioner, who has been an Attending Family Medicine Physician at Sturdy Memorial Associates in Plainville since the year 2000.
