Community VNA 2018 Support Groups

Community VNA, 10 Emory Street in Attleboro and its three Adult Day Health Centers located in Mansfield, Norwood and Taunton offer caregiver and bereavement support.
The support groups are designed to help individuals and families understand the challenges of living with illness, disability, aging and the loss of a loved one.
All meetings are free and open to the public.
Community VNA has been dedicated to enhancing health, wellness and quality of life for more than 100 years, providing a range of services, including: Home Health Care, Hospice Care, Palliative Care, Private Care, Adult Day Health Care, Alzheimer???s Assistance Program, as well as Lifeline services and annual Elder Dental Clinics.

Bereavement and Grief Support
Throughout the year Community VNA provides bereavement support for the public that includes regular meetings for adults.
Meetings are held at Community VNA.

Children???s Grief Program
Kid???s Club is designed to address the unique bereavement needs of children ages 5 to 13, providing a supportive environment where children can safely express inner thoughts and feelings and explore greater understanding at an age appropriate level.
Periodic programs are offered throughout the year.
Meetings are held at Community VNA.

Alzheimer???s Disease Support
A monthly support group for caregivers of someone with Alzheimer???s disease or other related dementia.
Alzheimer???s support group meets 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on the first Tuesday of each month at Community VNA.

Parkinson???s Disease Support ???
This monthly support group is open to people with Parkinson???s, family members and friends.
The Parkinson???s Support Group meets at Community VNA on the second Wednesday from 10:00 AM to Noon.
??Meetings include guest expert speakers, informal iscussions, camaraderie, and support.

Caregiver Support Groups in Taunton, Mansfield and Norwood
Community VNA???s adult day health centers offer a monthly support group for caregivers of a loved one, including those caring for frail elders or adults with disabilities.

These caregiver support groups help people become more effective and confident as caregivers.
Meetings are free and open to the public.
