SAINT JOHN’S SCHOOL ATTLEBORO

IT’S A MATTER OF FACT

F SJS SJEsciencefair

Students in grades six through eight at St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro recently held their annual Science Fair.

Parents and friends were invited to tour the fair that had experiments from how to make the best slime to what’s the best product to clean a penny.

Shown here is sixth grader Emily Dean explaining her physics project to parent Dr. Viren D’Sa.

Emily researched Newton’s laws to learn about forces that are involved when an object is dropped from a height.

She did an egg drop experiment where she packed an egg in different materials to protect it from the impact when the egg hits the ground.

She called her project the??Egg-citing Egg Drop.??
