What does it take to be an artist? How many times have each of us heard from friends: ???That photo you took is so beautiful you should sell copies of it!??? or ???That sketch you made on that napkin should be in a gallery!??? or maybe ???That sculpture of an artwork you made in clay or mashed potatoes should be in a museum!???
Last month we invited everyone on our mailing list and social media (totaling about 8000 people) to present us with work to be in this show. Much to our surprise, we were inundated with a lot of very good entries and it was very hard making the final choices of who would be in the show. We think you will be pleasantly surprised with the gems that we have found. These are all definitely artists!????????????????
We are?? pleased to announce our first ever ???You Should Be An Artist!??? group show featuring work of new emerging artists. Among the various mediums are acrylic, oil, photography, and mixed media, artworks featuring (but are not limited to) landscapes, architecture, abstract and portraits. The show will include affordable paintings and photographs by Chaim Fitzpatrick, Chris Boyce, Claire Bendiner,?? Denise Mumm, Dr.Ivy Peltz, Elaine Sutton, Fiftynites, Ista Salazar, Jan Donley, Kay Carson, Renee Royale, Sonya Goydenko, Spring Brooks and The Little Mojo among others.
Please join us and meet these artists for drinks and an art preview on Thursday, December 14th,?? from 6 PM – 8 PM and let us celebrate contemporary emerging talent! These works also make great Christmas and holiday gifts! The show ??will continue to January 20th, 2018.
