AUDITIONS AT ACT
Attleboro Community Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for the next show of their 61st Season. AMERICAN STRIPPERS, by Kevin Broccoli, local playwright and Artistic Director of Epic Theatre Company (Cranston, RI), will be directed by Megan Ruggiero, who will be assisted by Kevin Hernandez. Auditions will be held on December 3rd and 4th from 7:00 ??? 9:00pm at the Attleboro Community Theatre in the basement level of the Ezekiel Bates Masonic Lodge in Attleboro, MA.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
The director is also highly recommending prepared 1-minute comedic or dramatic monologues. This play contains adult content.
All actors must be 18 years or older to audition. ACT is looking to cast the following roles:

In this evocative, clever commentary on mythology, the Greek goddesses throw Aphrodite a bachelorette party at Americana, a male strip club in the heart of Texas, but Hera, Queen of the Gods is none too pleased about this and leaves Mount Olympus to break up the party.
The club is jointly owned by Paula??Bunyan and none other than Dionysus, God of Wine, Fertility, and of course, Theatre. The Americana is ???staffed??? by American folk legends, including but not limited to, Johnny Appleseed, Davy Crockett, and Pecos Bill.
Performances will be February 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, and March 2, 3, and 4. Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 8pm, and Sunday matinees will be at 2pm.
All actors must be available for all performances, as well as??tech week (February 11 ??? 14), including a dress rehearsal, preview performance on February 14th.
The rehearsal schedule will be discussed with the cast but will most likely be Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons/evenings.????
