Winter Art Classes for Kids at Linden Place Mansion this December
Spark creativity and imagination with popular art instructor, Joanne Murrman, at Linden Place this winter!

Linden Place Mansion is offering three Saturday morning art classes this winter on December 2,9, and 16th, 2017. This three-day, morning course from 9am-11:30am is designed for young artists (ages 8-11) who like to do a variety of art activities. Students will unleash their creativity and make fascinating discoveries while exploring the 200-year old historical mansion, grounds, and carriage house. Students will learn to draw and paint in a beautiful, historic setting using a variety of materials while surrounded by exquisite artifacts and history. Taught by a professional artist and certified teacher, Joanne Murrman, activities and themes include portraits, landscapes, weaving and more!??
The cost of classes is $75 per student. Linden Place members receive a $20 discount. Class size is limited to 8 students so be sure to register early.

Friends of Linden Place is a non-profit organization responsible for the restoration and preservation of the historic house museum at 500 Hope Street in Bristol, Rhode Island, and for the promotion of cultural, artistic, and educational programs in the community. The mansion and grounds are open to the public from May to October, during the holiday season, and also by appointment.
