Three generations of Twelfth Night Jesters, Tom Murphy, Mike Miclon, Shane Miclon and Collin Miclon, have collectively performed around the world and have shared their humor for hundreds of thousands of audience members. Tom Murphy, one of the original Jesters of A Celebration of Twelfth Night, worked the show from the early 1980s through the mid-2000s. Michael Miclon was a guest jester in 1998 and became a permanent jester in the show in 2008, and soon after brought his sons, Shane & Collin.

A Celebration of Twelfth Night, produced and performed by the Chorus of Westerly, was a Westerly holiday tradition for forty years. The show, which ended its run in 2015, was an original written musical stage play with a new script annually, featured over 100 actors, acrobats, dancers, jesters, and other mirth makers, as well as the Chorus of Westerly and the Boston Festival Brass. Always a highlight of the shows each year were the Jesters and their presentation of the Gift of Mirth to the newly crowned King & Queen.?? Each year an entirely new Jester act was created for the show.

Surely You Jest, is an all new show featuring the best of the Jester acts as well as newly created routines. A show for the entire family, the evening will be filled with hilarious slapstick and verbal comedy, incredible juggling, and magic.

All proceeds from this special performance event will benefit the Chorus of Westerly’s ongoing community music and outreach programs, as well as its performance programs such as the??Symphonic Concert Series, Christmas Pops, Summer Pops, the Collegiate Concert Series, and others.
