Rhode Island Stands with DACA

Since 2012, 800,000 young people who came to the United States as children have stepped into the light, passed background checks, and received work permits through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. President Trump has made it clear that he intends to terminate it.
The Rhode Island Democratic Party is determined to resist.
This Tuesday, join Governor Raimondo, Mayor Elorza, Mayor Diossa, Representative Maldonado, and many others as we support the Dreamers and DACA recipients in our state. Will you sign your name to tell President Trump to preserve DACA? The fight will not end there, though. Join the newly reactivated Rhode Island Democratic Party Latino Caucus to help foster outreach and engagement in our minority communities.

Este Martes, unanse con la Gobernadora Gina Raimondo, el Alcalde Elorza, el Alcalde Diossa, Representante Maldonado, y muchos otros que apoyan a los DREAMers y los beneficiarios de DACA de nuestro estado.

Esta junta se encargar?? en promover: la representaci??n de Latinos en la estructura del partido Dem??crata del estado; el entrenamiento de candidatos pol??ticos; el involucramiento de la comunidad Latina; y la oportunidad de apoyar y defender todo lo que afecte a la comunidad Latina.
