Dearest Friends of the Pawtucket Arts Festival,
??
PAF raises the curtain on its 19th annual season with a fundraising event and arts party hosted at The REVEL Factory, 149 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket on Friday, September 8, co-hosted by TEN31 Productions.??
With a theatrical flourish, PAF and Curtain Up! ??will set the stage for an evening where the arts, audience, sponsors, and you – the community who make the annual Pawtucket Arts Festival possible – are in the spotlight.
Doors open for Curtain Up! ticket holders from 7:00 -10:00 pm in the exciting new event space created by Eric Auger and Joseph Pari of TEN31 Productions.??Directly on the banks of the Blackstone River below the Morris Nathanson Bridge on nearby Exchange Street, The REVEL Factory will be transformed into a nouveau 1920s jazz club where an evening is planned to honor Mr. Nathanson for his support of the arts and applaud the 2017 Pawtucket Arts Panel grant recipients.
Tickets are on sale now and are certain to sell out for this dazzling, celebratory event. Get your tickets at:

A cash bar will be available with artful cocktails designed by Little Bitte, local brews made at the Isle Brewers Guild, and delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by Bites by Bre and Knead Doughnuts. Live music performed by festival musicians and the J.M. Walsh jazz ensemble will create a 1920s underground, jazzy music-themed atmosphere that welcomes conversation and connecting, as well as celebrating and supporting the arts with cabaret club performances and installations created by the artists of TEN31 Productions, Philippe Lejeune, Keri King, and technician Kevin J. Martin.??
The 3rd Annual Curtain Up! spotlight will fall on Morris Nathanson, selected by the Pawtucket Arts Festival Board of Directors as the recipient of the 2017 PAF Excellence Award.??Nathanson has long served Pawtucket and Rhode Island as a foremost ambassador for the arts and culture. The Excellence Award, designed by Gail Ahlers of Ahlers Designs, will allow guests and colleagues to toast and celebrate the highly regarded artist-community leader on the eve of his 90th birthday on September 9th.
We can’t wait to celebrate and enjoy this terrific night with you!????
All best,
Jennifer Dalton Vincent
Festival Director, The Pawtucket Arts Festival
