Pawtucket Parks & Recreation Division Announces Upcoming?? Adult Tennis Programs

The Pawtucket Parks & Recreation Division will be conducting various tennis programs at the Mike Kenny tennis courts in Slater Memorial Park this season.
Adult league registrations will be accepted from April 3 through Friday, May 26th.?? The men???s doubles league will take place on Monday evenings starting June 5th while the men???s singles league will begin on Wednesday, June 7th.?? The women???s doubles league will take place on Tuesday evenings, starting June 6th with the singles league beginning on Thursday, June 8th.
The cost for each adult league is $40.00 for residents and $50.00 for non-residents of Pawtucket. All participants must be 18 years of age or older.?? All leagues start at 6 p.m. on their respective days and will continue for ten weeks.
Limited openings are available for the Adult Tennis Clinics taking place at Slater Park on Saturday mornings starting May 13th.?? Participants have the option to take part in a 6 week program based upon skill level.?? Beginners and intermediate players will take part in the clinic from 9 am ??? 10 am.?? Advanced players will attend the 10 am ??? 11 am session.?? The clinic is intended for those 18 years of age or older who are interested in learning the game of tennis or to brush up on current skills.?? The cost for the six week program is $75 per resident or $85 per non-resident.
All participants of the various programs are asked to have a can of tennis balls on hand.??
