RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS PAY OFF
The Pre-K students at St. John the Evangelist School in Attleboro recently had a “shopping trip” with “money” earned from doing good deeds.
According to Pre-K teacher Tammy O’Malley, “The students earned money by being ‘caught doing something nice!’ If they helped a friend, said something kind, used good manners or gave something up for a friend, they were given pennies and nickels as payment.
They learned the value of money and the joy of spending it!”??
The money lesson involved counting and sorting the coins and the students shopped for items using their earned money.
Shown here at the register with Mrs. Tammy O’Malley is Flora Omolo and Amy Banks.
