Tell Your Story: Shadow Puppets

In celebration of the Museum???s new Coming to Rhode Island exhibit ??? a time-traveling exploration of history and culture through stories ?????families tell their own stories with shadow puppets and silhouettes. Explore puppet-making techniques from around the world and create puppets to bring shadows to life.

Play and Learn: Ice Cream Shop????????????

Play and Learn is the Museum???s open-ended story-based program for 2- to 4-year-olds and their parents, designed to help preschoolers build their skills in a variety of areas and to continue the learning at home.?? This week, preschoolers practice fine motor skills as they play in a pretend ice cream parlor.

Sculpt, build and artfully arrange an array of recycled materials ??? caps, tubes and other reclaimed treasures ??? in Discovery Studio, the Museum???s open-ended art and science exploration space.

Native American Tales
