Rachel Legend, LICSW, has been appointed CEO at Arbour-Fuller Hospital, at Arbour-Fuller Hospital, a private psychiatric hospital in South Attleboro, Massachusetts that provides adolescent and adult inpatient mental health services, acute residential treatment for patients with co-occurring psychiatric and addictions disorders, adult partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.?? The hospital also manages in-home therapy programs in the Southeastern MA community that provide care for children and families at home and other community settings.

Legend brings to Arbour-Fuller Hospital significant experience as a leader and consultant in the behavioral healthcare industry.?? In addition to programs to support adult patients dealing with addiction and co-occurring disorders, the hospital???s specialties include in-home therapy, therapeutic mentoring to assist parents and other caregivers of children and adolescents, and is particularly known for its intellectual disability services for adults.

Before joining Arbour-Fuller Hospital, Legend held several positions at CharterCARE Health Partners in Providence, Rhode Island. She most recently served as the Director of Behavioral Health leading two large urban psychiatric emergency departments, outpatient clinical services, and 110 inpatient psychiatric beds across two hospitals. In that role, Legend implemented evidence-based approaches to treatment and developed innovative behavioral health product lines and programs. Prior to that position, she was CharterCARE???s Manager of Centralized Access and Assessment, managing, overseeing and providing direction and leadership to two large behavioral health emergency departments.

Legend earned a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from San Jose State University, and Masters of Social Work from Rhode Island College. She is a graduate of Leadership Rhode Island???s year-long program analyzing critical issues in the state and was recognized by Rhode Island College with the Annual Diversity Award.
