Friends and Neighbors
As 2016 winds down, Thanksgiving is an opportunity to pause and reflect on everything we’re thankful for. As we approach the mid-way point of our first term in office, we’re so grateful for the opportunity to serve you as Governor and Lt. Governor. And it’s been a privilege to travel our Commonwealth and connect with the many communities that make our state great. Every day, we are inspired by the strength of the cities and towns in every corner of Massachusetts.??
As the end of a long year approaches, it is more important than ever that we take lessons from our communities as we seek to unify our country. Our Commonwealth is made stronger thanks to decent, hard-working people who care about improving the lives of those around them. As we spend Thanksgiving with family and friends, let’s resolve to re-commit ourselves to those values that make our state and country great. Building a stronger and more unified country starts with strong families and communities.
