Fall is an exciting time of year for United Way of Greater Attleboro/Taunton, Inc. (UWGAT) as we host our Annual Campaign. 2015 generated approximately $2,000,000 of support by civic minded local individuals and organizations.

Communities face problems no single person or organization can solve alone. That???s where United Way comes in, fighting for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community. United Way works to address issues at the root cause to generate lasting change that lifts up everyone.

This year as we approach Thanksgiving, consider how United Way may impact your life on any given day. United Way is at work ??? all the time. Transporting patients to medical appointments, supporting after school programs, or when a homeless family is housed because of UWGAT???s South Coast Regional Network to End Homelessness, and so much more. That is your United Way.

As a community convener unlikely partnerships are forged and resources mobilized to develop new solutions to these social issues. UWGAT is where the community turns for assistance.

UWGAT partners with organizations, municipalities, and individuals to generate revenue for local community programs. By hosting a workplace campaign, organizations provide opportunity for employees to support their local community through payroll deduction.

Give, advocate, and volunteer are the cornerstones for building strong communities in which we work, live, and play. When you give, your generosity supports local nonprofit programs. When you advocate, you speak on behalf of those who may not have the opportunity to be heard and spread the message that United Way changes lives. When you volunteer you can impact a life.

Change starts with you, Are you in? Join the Live United movement and make a difference. By investing in UWGAT, its more than a donation. You are investing in a network helping to create positive systemic change in your community one hour, one dollar, and one voice at a time.

Donate today or get involved at www.uwgat.org or send your tax deductible contribution to UWGAT, 247 Maple Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.

Happy Thanksgiving,
