SEPTEMBER SNAPSHOTS
ADOPT A SHELF
Join us on Monday September 19, 2016 from 5:30 PM-6:30 PM in the Community room and be an official Norton Public Library Shelf Manager! Volunteers in grades 4-12 will “adopt a shelf” and be trained in how to regularly keep that section of the Library looking awesome!?? After the training, Shelf Managers will be able to set their own schedules for volunteer work.
Can’t make it to the training? Email Meredith (the Youth Services Librarian) at mruhl@sailsinc.org to set up an individual training session.
Did you already train as a Shelf Manager last year? Feel free to come to the training for a reminder, or just check in with Meredith Ruhl to get your new shelf assignment.?? Contact: Meredith Ruhl ?? 508-286-2696 ?? mruhl@sailsinc.org
ZUMBA
Dance party! Are you interested in a fun workout for everybody and everybody? Zumba instructor Kelley Brophy will lead this free Zumba class for teens-seniors on Monday September 26, 2016 from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM in the Community room. This is one of three summer classes–join us for one, two or all three! No registration required.??
How Zumba?? works: We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba?? Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.
COLORING
Coloring isn’t just for kids! Join us on Tuesday September 27, 2016 from 5:30 PM-6:30 PM in the Conference room for adult coloring night. We’ll provide coloring pages–florals, mandalas, zentagles and more–colored pencils and markers, and light refreshments. No registration is required; just drop in, relax, and let your creativity flow.??
