Narragansett Bay Symphony Community Orchestra to perform at the Weaver Library??
Weaver Library proudly announces that the Narragansett Bay Symphony??Community Orchestra, Rhode Island’s premiere community-based orchestra, will perform in a free concert on the library lawn on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2pm. ??The first symphony concert in the library’s history, the concert has been made possible by a generous patron??donation, the??Friends of the Library and the City of East Providence. The exciting program will include selections by Beethoven, Handel, Dvorak, and more.
Led by Music Director Benjamin Vickers, the Narragansett Bay Symphony Community Orchestra (NABSCO) has created a dynamic presence in Rhode Island through superb performances of classical music.?? Founded in 2005 as the??Rhode Island Philharmonic Community Orchestra under the auspices of the Rhode Island Philharmonic & Music School, NABSCO established itself as an independent cultural nonprofit in 2012 with the orchestra growing to over 70 musicians.??
Weaver Library is located at 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence, RI.?? This concert is free and open to all.?? ????
