The Pawtucket Arts Festival’s opening weekend is??August 26th-28th??in downtown Pawtucket??by the banks of the Blackstone River, ground central for a newly designated National Historical Park.

On??Friday??evening,??August 26th, Slater Mill and Roosevelt Avenue are the setting for the PAF??Taste of the Valley & Blackstone River Revival,??where crowds cheer on culinary competitors and the region’s restaurants offer food samplings in pursuit of the PAF??”Tasting Cup”??and??”Peoples’??Choice”??Awards.??

The Blackstone River Revival??immediately follows??The Taste??as Pawtucket’s arts party continues under the tent on the grounds of Slater Mill. ??Roomful of Blues??will rock the??Revival??stage as the audience takes to the dance floor. Opening for Roomful will be The Rad Trads straight outa Brooklyn. One of the hottest horn bands on the national circuit!
