2016 Weaver Library Farmers Market Opens June 23rd
The Weaver Library Farmers Market, 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence, RI, opens for its third season on Thursday, June 23, 2016. The market takes place on the beautiful library lawn every Thursday rain or shine from June 23rd through September 8, 2016.???? Open from 4pm – 7pm, the market is a fun and healthy destination for families, foodies, and friends!?? Favorite farmers, producers, and bakers from 2015 will be returning and new local vendors will be selling cheese, granola, and coffee among other delicious foods.?? A duo starring Becky Bass on steel drum will add music and a great vibe to the opening day!
The Weaver Library Farmers Market will accept SNAP/EBT payments and WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program coupons.?? New for 2016 are SNAP Bonus Bucks!?? Thanks to grant funds from Farm Fresh RI, those who spend $5 in SNAP at the Market will get $2 FREE for fruits and vegetables.
