(PROVIDENCE, R.I.) ??? The John Russell Bartlett Society and the Rhode Island Historical Society present a joint program on Wednesday, June 1, 6-8pm, featuring a talk by Paul Muller-Reed of New England Book Auctions, followed by the opportunity for guests to have books appraised by our expert speaker. Attendees may bring a maximum of two books to be appraised.

New England Book Auctions, formerly Oinonen Book Auctions, holds a unique position in the antiquarian book market as the only full-time auction gallery in New England dedicated to the sale of rare books and related materials. Each year it conducts 24 auctions, and publishes 12 catalogues of rare books, manuscripts, maps, prints, graphics, ephemera, etc. Now under the ownership of New England Auctions, LLC, and entering its 31st year, NEBA has conducted more than 650 auction sales, and its catalogues are respected for their high standards of bibliographical accuracy and objectivity.
