Feehan State Champs Take to the State House

The Bishop Feehan High School varsity girls’ basketball team enjoyed a final accolade as the Division 1 State Champs were hosted at the Massachusetts State House. The team gained a sneak peak into an Animal Abuse convention, was given an expository tour of the history and rooms of the building, and attended a luncheon with State Representative from Attleboro, Paul Heroux and State Representative from North Attleboro, Betty Poirier. The Shamrocks were presented certificates of recognition at the House Chamber in front of the state’s representatives before a voting session began. Finally, the players met with basketball fan, Governor Charlie Baker, for some basketball discussion and a photo op.
