???This is a wonderful organization that I am happy to support.?? The Art Connection provides beauty to those who are often undergoing hard times in our state and it is important to show those people that even though times are tough, there still is hope in this world,??? said Representative Coughlin (D-Dist. 60, Pawtucket).?? ???I urge everyone to support this important organization.???

Founded in 2011, the Art Connection RI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects local artists and donors to community service organizations across Rhode Island. In sync with providing artists with the opportunity to showcase their work for new audiences, they also help nonprofit organizations who might not otherwise have the budget for artwork, create a more welcoming and nourishing environment ??? oftentimes affecting those who are going through a socioeconomic hardship in their lives.

Over the last 4 years, TAC-RI has placed 345 pieces of original artwork from 75 local artists in 30 qualified nonprofit community service organizations.
