Some of workers and lots of trash.
The Hill-Roberts School PTO held their Earth Day clean-up at the Roy Street school campus on Saturday morning.
Scouring the perimeter. That is a long task.
Threatening skies and occasional showers were not a factor. The Hill-Roberts community brought enough enthusiasm and good cheer to ward off inclement weather.
Brief stop for a photo. Smiles to brighten the day.
Three generation families were the norm. Grand moms and Grand dads worked bag and glove with their grandchildren scouring the grounds. Moms and dads lead teams of their own and their neighbors??? children in clusters as they picked up the grounds.
Yes, the girls rolled tires across the field by themselves.
For two hours the folks cleaned up the front of the school, the wooded perimeters and many of the pathways that are part of the Hill-Roberts??? grounds. They spruced up gardens and planted flowers.
Guys and mom cleaning up behind District 17 school house.
The PTO thanked the South Attleboro Home Depot for their support.
The store???s Team Depot supplied tools, bags, gloves, flowers??and water for the project. Team Depot has an on-going commitment to the Hill-Roberts??? community.
