Providence Children???s Museum is the BEST place for school vacation fun!?? The Museum is open daily during vacation, Monday, April 18 – Friday, April 22 from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with special activities all week long:

A PCM Animal Experiences (1)

Animal Experiences Monday, April 18?? ????? 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM Meet an awesome assortment of live animals!?? Children have close encounters with furry friends, slithering snakes and other incredible creatures and learn fascinating facts about them from animal expert Dave Marchetti of Animal Experiences.?? Shows at 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM; recommended for ages 3 and up.

Eco Explorers Tuesday, April 19?? ????? 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Try a variety of activities exploring conservation in Discovery Studio, the Museum???s hands-on art and science exploration space.?? Play a recycle sorting game, create cards in honor of Earth Month, stamp with tree pieces to create designs and patterns, and make other recycled crafts.

Wingmasters Wednesday, April 20?? ????? 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Families learn about majestic birds of prey with licensed raptor rehabilitator Julie Collier.?? Meet a glorious golden eagle, a tiny owl, a red-tailed hawk, a falcon and other magnificent raptors.?? Shows at 10:00 & 11:00 AM and 1:00 & 2:00 PM; recommended for ages 4 and up.

Imagination Playground Thursday, April 21?? ????? 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Kids invent their own ways to play as they stack and build with huge blue foam blocks, wheels, spools, tubes and a variety of loose parts.?? Construct castles and forts, create interesting sculptures and more!

Farm Friends Friday, April 22???? ????? 1:00 – 3:00 PM Families encounter soft sheep from Maybe Tomorrow Farm (Chepachet, RI), rabbits from Paine Farm (Foster, RI), and chickens and chicks from Sweetbrier Farms (Swansea, MA) in the Museum???s Children???s Garden.?? Kids get a close look at these creatures and meet experts from local farms, who demonstrate washing, carding, dying and spinning fleece into yarn.??
