Imagination Playground Sunday, March 27???????11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Kids invent their own ways to play as they stack and build with huge blue foam blocks, wheels, spools, tubes and a variety of loose parts.?? Play and Learn: Bugs in Boxes Tuesday, March 29???????10:00 AM – Noon Play and Learn is the Museum???s open-ended story-based program especially for 2- to 4-year-olds and their parents, designed to help preschoolers build their skills in a variety of areas and to help parents continue the learning at home.?? This week, preschoolers practice sorting and develop spatial awareness as they find just the right size boxes to fit various bugs. Underwritten by National Grid.
Animal Adventures Wednesday, March 30 & Thursday, March 31???????10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Create critters and craft wild habitats for animal play in Discovery Studio, the Museum???s art and science exploration space.?? Browse books to learn to identify different animal tracks and stamp a path of animal footprints.
April Fools! Friday, April 1 ?????9:00 AM – 6:00 PM In honor of April Fool’s Day, the Children???s Museum hosts a silly scavenger hunt that sends visitors searching high and low to solve riddles and uncover humorous and unexpected objects hidden in surprising spots.
Cup Towers Saturday, April 2???????2:00 – 4:00 PM Kids stack and pile paper cups to create terrific towers and then watch them topple!
