Two Bristol museums, Linden Place and Bristol Art Museum, sponsor a field trip to Boston Symphony Hall on Thursday, March 31st.??????????????????????????????????????

?????Van-Go??? Trips, a successful collaboration between Linden Place and the Bristol Art Museum, is planning its first trip of 2016!?? In March, enjoy an opportunity to sit back, relax and depart from Bristol with door-door service to Boston Symphony Hall where you will be treated to an open rehearsal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Open Rehearsals offer a unique perspective on the creative dynamic between orchestra and conductor. Gain a better understanding of how the orchestra refines its performance by occasionally repeating passages or focusing on a particular movement. On Thursday, March 31, Boston Symphony Orchestra Conductor Emeritus Bernard Haitink and the great American pianist Murray Perahia will collaborate with the orchestra in Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto.

The bus departs Bristol from the municipal parking lot on Thames Street across from the Robin Rug building at 9:00am and leaves from Boston between 2:00-2:30pm. A luxury coach will be used with restroom facilities on board for a comfortable ride.??????

??The price for this trip is $40 for transportation paid to Bristol Art Museum, PO Box 42, Bristol, RI 02809 no later than two weeks before trip. Please include name, address, email, telephone and emergency contact number. The ticket price for the Boston Symphony Orchestra is $16.20, payable in cash and collected on the bus.
