Howdy, folks! Get ready to relive the quintessential spirit of Western America in the North Attleborough High School Theatre Company???s rendition of Irving Berlin???s ???Annie Get Your Gun??? on April 8th and 9th, at 7:00 pm, in the Judith E. Cobb Theatre. We are proud to present this authentic and exciting tale in our annual spring musical with music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and book by Herbert and Dorothy Fields. The show is directed by Ms. Lisa Forsgard, with musical direction by Mr. Rob Couture, and pit orchestra conducted by Mr. T.J. Rizzo.
The story follows the knee-slapping journey of the young sharpshooter Annie Oakley, played by senior Meredith Johnson, as she travels with the Wild West show of Buffalo Bill Cody, played by sophomore Alex Rinaldi. Scouted by the show???s manager, Charlie Davenport, played by junior Andrew Lamoureux, Annie quickly becomes the assistant to the alluring marksman, Frank Butler, played by junior Ricky Mulligan. A budding romance soon blossoms between the two, despite the efforts of Frank???s former assistant, the conniving and hateful Dolly Tate, played by sophomore Lorie Simonian. Join us and become immersed as Frank learns that a woman can shoot and look ???purdy!???
Tickets are still only $12.00 for adults, and $10.00 for high school and younger students and senior citizens. Tickets will be on sale at all lunches the week of the show and before and after school in Room 101 from Ms. Forsgard.
